The
Australasian Retreat for Advanced Volunteer Management
is an annual three day 'think tank' specifically aimed
at volunteer managers who consider themselves to be
operating at an advanced level
National
Volunteer Skills Centre (NVSC)
The NVSC was launched in December
2002. The National Volunteer Skills Centre aims to
support voluntary and volunteer involving organisations
throughout Australia develop and implement their training
and skills development needs.

especially as they relate to sporting bodies was commissioned
by New Zealand’s Hillary Commission in 2001.
