The
National Health and Medical research Council, in conjunction
with Volunteering Australia, released this comprehensive
52 page guide titled 'Working with Volunteers and
Managing Volunteer Programs in Health Care Settings'
in 2003. OzVPM Director Andy Fryar was involved in
the working party that compiled this guide.

Australian Dept of Health Volunteers Web Site
The Western Australian Government
through its Department of Health maintains a web site
that examines the various aspects of volunteers working
within its portfolio areas, including some useful
volunteer management templates
American
Society for Directors of Volunteer Services (ASDVS)
The ASDVS is an American based
organisation that focuses on the role of volunteer
management in Health care settings – probably
the only peak body in the world with that focus.
