Volunteer Co-ordinator

UCH is a recognised leader in the provision of quality aged care and retirement living services. Operating at 25 sites across metropolitan and country WA, we understand that people are the key to ensuring quality both in service delivery and in cultivating a positive workplace culture.
We seek to appoint an experienced co-ordinator who will actively manage the attraction, retention, training, recognition and support of volunteers throughout Uniting Church Homes. In this position you will provide services and support for managers and volunteer contact staff across sites. You will develop and refine our existing Volunteer Program to ensure continuous improvement and create the best use of the great skill-mix and energy of our volunteers.
Selection Criteria
- A relevant tertiary qualification or experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated knowledge of volunteer attraction and retention methods.
- Demonstrated understanding of issues impacting on volunteers and organisations that utilise volunteers.
- Systems and database management and ability to report on statistics
- Ability to report on statistics as regards the volunteer programme.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer Literacy – competent in use of Microsoft Office suite.
- Current WA C Class Driving License & National Police Clearance
