BOX HILL

Family Access Network (FAN) is a community based organisation located in Box Hill in the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Victoria.  FAN provides a range of services for young people, young families and accompanying children experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

The Life Skills Program aims to provide a range of supportive workshops and programs that encourage and promote skill development and enhance social/emotional wellbeing while fostering social inclusion.

The Volunteer Program aims to recruit, orientate, train and support volunteers appropriate to the purposes of FAN. 

A dynamic person is required to join the team at FAN.  Applicants with experience in service delivery, group work or related are encouraged. The position is 3 days per week. The position is aligned with FAN’s broader services in response to young people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including singles, families, accompanying children, and same sex attracted transgender intersex young people.

The position involves the development and delivery of client focussed life skills programs and maintaining and supporting the volunteers linked across FAN’s services.
