The Advancement Office is responsible for leading and coordinating activities and services who include alumni, donors, corporate and industry partners and current and prospective donors. The Advancement Office supports the University’s vision, mission and goals by raising awareness, generating financial assistance and providing services to the University’s key stakeholders.

 


The role: The Alumni Officer will be responsible for developing and coordinating the University’s volunteer alumni and community relations programs. Key responsibilities include developing guidelines and processes, assisting with the set-up of new volunteer alumni groups in Australia and internationally and assisting existing volunteer groups with the design and implementation of strategy and work plans.

 


The person: Applicants should possess an undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training/education and experience. You will also have demonstrated experience in identifying, training, organising and working with volunteers, as well as experience in managing and administering volunteer organisations or boards. Superior written and verbal communication skills, as well as high-level of initiative are essential.

 


Remuneration: This is a full-time continuing appointment position at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range of $58,297 - $62,821 p.a, (plus employer superannuation contributions of 17% (total package will be in the range of $68,208 - $73,500 p.a.).

VOLUNTEER PROGRAM OFFICER

Are you passionate about working with volunteers to make a difference to the lives of others?

 

This permanent full-time position is responsible for providing customer-focused support in the area of volunteer management for our organisation, with over 700 volunteers working in the areas of early childhood, aged care and pastoral care.

 

In this role you will contribute to the development and implementation of organisation-wide volunteer management initiatives, which ensure the effective engagement of volunteers, students and host placements. The role will support a network of Volunteer Coordinators, ensuring they maintain Care's high standards in recruiting, training and supporting volunteers.

 

The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide specialised advice and information on volunteer management practices.

 

You will have a relevant diploma level qualification or higher (ideally in HR or Volunteer Management) coupled with previous experience in managing a volunteer program.

 

The successful candidate will have access to funded training, possible career progression and attractive salary packaging options.
