FUNDRAISING & VOLUNTEER MANAGER

Scalabrini provides exceptional care services at various levels, from self-care to high-level dementia care. We have a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional Fundraising and Volunteer Manager with strong networking and influencing skills to join the team at our Head Office in Drummoyne. This position is responsible for identifying and scoping potential funding sources, create and drive campaigns in line with Scalabrini’s fundraising strategy and income targets and oversee all fundraising activities with an aim to build and increase revenue. In summary your responsibilities will include:
- Development, implementation and assessment of fundraising activities and campaigns;
- Creation and implementation of income generation strategies;
- Writing grant applications and funding submissions;
- Maintenance of the fundraising and marketing contacts database;
- Networking and liaison with business, community groups, government bodies and agencies to secure financial support;
- Establishing, building and maintaining business and corporate partnerships;
- Formulation and management of fundraising budget;
- Assisting in event preparation and representation at events and with key stakeholders;
- Engaging and working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors in strategies to increase funding opportunities;
- Management of Scalabrini’s Volunteer Program contributing to the development and implementation of strategic planning for the Volunteer Groups and providing managerial support to a small team of dedicated Volunteer Coordinators.
In this position you will be required to possess the following Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years previous management experience in fundraising or a similar position;
- Tertiary qualification in a related field preferred;
- Extensive knowledge and application in marketing and public relations practices and principles;
- Demonstrated experience working with individual fundraisers, corporate entities, community groups and volunteers;
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets;
- Proven success in acquiring, developing and retaining donors;
- Demonstrated accomplishment in acquiring grant funding;
- Management and development of successful relationships with funding bodies;
- Intermediate computer skills, predominantly Microsoft Office programs e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required;
- Previous experience in the Aged Care or Health Services industry would be an advantage.
