Since
posting this month's Hot Topic, we have been inundated
by inquries about how people can get involved as volunteers
to assist with the relief efforts. Australian Volunteers
International have now established an online registration
page where those wishing to volunteer their time can
express their interest and skills. It can be found
at http://www.australianvolunteers.com/home/tsunami/help

We
very much appreciate your Hot Topic this month. Your
point is very timely and it is very well illustrated
in the voluntary initiatives of people all over the
world in response to the tsunami disaster. Just want
to tell you that we're documenting all such stories
of volunteer initiatives for the tsunami victims on
the World Volunteer Web. You can find them in our
special coverage of the disaster: http://www.worldvolunteerweb.org/dynamic/cfapps/news/tsunami.cfm
It's
not too late ~ why not be the first!
Let's
hear what you think!
