2012 – 2013 Australasian Retreat for Advanced Volunteer Management News

Andy Fryar June 5, 2012 4

After much deliberation, the decision has been made NOT to host the Australasian Retreat for Advanced Volunteer Management during 2012.

This is only the second time since 2005 that the retreat has not been held.

OzVPM Director Andy Fryar said “The decision comes as the result of a combination of growing workloads, needing to be realistic about what we can achieve within a diminishing calendar and the desire to ensure that we deliver a quality event”.

“We apologise to those of you who had been awaiting this years event but promise we will be back bigger and better than ever in 2013”

Event organisers OzVPM and People First Total Solutions are thrilled to announce that the 2013 Australasian Retreat for Advanced Volunteer Management will be held in Sydney from March 20 – 22, 2013.

Further announcements about the venue, faculty members and application processes will be announced as they come to hand.

Hey Andy and Martin totally understand!
It is great that you have set dates for 2013 so VMs can pencil in! The last Retreat I attended was many years ago so looking forward to being able to network and work at this advanced level again! You certainly manage to challenge us. 2013 is perfect!

Very pleased to hear you haven’t dropped out altogether. What you do in these Retreats is inspirational. Every MV needs to attend!
